Aging in Place
Of late, WaterMark has begun to focus on residential projects designed for people to age in place. Often we see that condominium buyers in don’t want to consider the unit as a starter home they need to move out of in 5 years. This coupled with empty nesters moving back into the city has us thinking about features that help for long term use of the units. This means features such as:
- Elevators
- Handicap accessibility
- Ramps
- MBTA access
- Wide stairways, hallways & bathrooms for the potential to add grab bars and lifts at a later time.
